Please feel free to post reviews of your favorite restaurants, ones that you particularly hate, or anything in between. Don't worry about whether anyone else here has ever heard of it or because you live in some city or country that no one has ever heard of. Someone who isn't yet a member of this forum might come across it in search engine results, and someone here will be interested in your review anyhow.
If it hadn't been for my work with the Aviva Directory, I would have probably been blissfully unaware that the proper name for the Ivory Coast was Côte d'Ivoire. There were others that were also new to me, such as Eritrea. There were probably some Eritreans who were aware of it, though.
Yes, the Ivory Coast. I was going to give a short review but I couldn't find a restaurant Where I could read the menu. Dang French, anyway.
Anyhow, post a review of a restaurant that has impressed you in either a positive or a negative way. Leave a link if they have a web site.
I grew up in Texas and Mexican food has always been a favorite. Actually Mexican food one will experience in the interior of Mexico is quite different than one will experience in Texas. In Mexico food is bland. In Texas it is spiced up and known as Tex-Mex food. That's the food I like and miss since moving to Oklahoma. I have tried almost all the Mexican restaurants here in Norman. I have found two to my liking. Both serve good food but one has the edge and has become my favorite. It is Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos is not as noisy as the other place. It is a quite place. You can hear each other talk. Both booths and tables are available. The help is friendly and helpful. The place has the atmosphere of a family sitting. Prices are reasonable. The times I have been here I leave with the impression that this is a good place to eat. The menu is standard fare and it's website is not much but then one doesn't visit for the website. It is the food and atmosphere that keeps customers returning again and again. http://losdosamigosnorman.com/
It doesn't matter whether it's a chain restaurant or a local cafe or diner, or whether you loved it, liked it, or hated it, don't be shy. Post your restaurant review here. Leave a website link if they have one, as well as an address or whatever.
We went to a buffet type restaurant as a group, about 2 months ago I looked at buffet and there was no hot meat apart from a bit of dried up beef ,I asked for some chicken and was quickly answered by “How much do you want “ in an aggressive manner I thought I’d paid to,eat what I want not to have to beg for something I’d eat The dessert bar only had Jelly and sloppy overripe fruit , all the pavlova had been used and after more than 1/2 not replaced..when I asked for pavlova please We , as a group were told eat what’s there ... Yes I left a review ...and there are plenty of other negative reviews about this place I couldn’t wait to get out of and will never go back
Ok, here's one we go to a lot in Spain called ...it's right on the beach, high quality food, and great waiting service... It's simply called Beach House and it's in Marbella It has live music lunchtimes and evenings and not intrusive music either...great atmosphere.. https://www.beachhousemarbella.com/menu
What I had in mind was a separate threads within the "Restaurant Reviews" section, but I suppose brief reviews can be posted here.
What is the best place to eat near where you live? Why is it so good? Consider posting your answer in a separate thread as a restaurant review.
Chick-fil-A has always had the fastest and friendliest service....along with the best chicken. It is the only place, where we were walked to our car under an umbrella, following our meal.
