My first thought was the 5 notes used to communicate in 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'
but those are G, A, F (octave lower ) F, C and then B flat, C, A Flat, ( octave lower ) A flat, E flat.

Then I thought of the 'Jaws' theme. Wrong on both counts...

Theme to 'Star Trek' maybe?

 

It's right for "Close Encounters", but not for what I'm looking for.

That works, Nancy, but the one I'm looking for is "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", sung by Judy Garland in the movie "The Wizard of Oz".

Claire de Lune is an excellent choice, however, and I respect your knowledge of the Classics!...Also "Tara's Theme" from "Gone with the Wind".
