Was working with my youngest son about the 'Circle of 5ths' on guitar and used this song as an example. The chords are a perfect circle of 5ths, C G D A E. Tons of Jazz examples, but wanted to use one he'd understand. ( who doesn't like Jimi... ) Then one thing led to another and this jumped out.
From the first notes by the young lady on the double bass, you know this is going be something special. Gives me hope for the world; Every country I have ever visited, music is the key to understanding each other. These kids knock it out of the park! Then there's Aguas De Marco...
I really love this performance. The only thing that could make it better is for the conductor to tell the guys sitting in the back between the two girls to not look so bored. LOL
Reading an article about her battle with Parkinson's and not being able to sing anymore. In 1970, I fell in love with that voice along with countless others. She was a pure singer; not an Auto-Tune invention. Her songs, with the great band leader Nelson Riddle, are legendary. Going through some of her songs, seemed like a good thing to do. Enjoy.

Curtians opened and because they where white the crowd booed them. Buddy said listern to us first and then boo Shouted from the crowed WE MIGHT SHOOT YOU. After they performed the crowed gave them a standing ovatiction. PS sorry about the spelling seems I have lost my spell checker
