I do something new every single day regardless of how small it is.. day before yesterday for example, I went to physio, not for the first time, but for the very first time to this one whose clinic is held in a beautiful house that I've passed thousands of times for over 40 years and which was always privately owned until recently !!..so I got to see how lovely it was inside still in it's original old colonial style... Wharrabout you Mr Pasty ?
I TRY to do something new all the time, regardless of how small. Learn a new word, take a road I have never been down before, try a new item to eat. But about 4 years ago, I did get a complete manicure and pedicure, and had never ever done that before. If I could hitch a ride with Terry Page, I would not have to concern myself with doing something new
May 2018: Welcomed a grandchild for the first time; one of the most magnificent days of my life. The rewards of this keep on growing.
I thought of something ! I cut about 3 inches off me hair and shaped it a bit too - bloomin' marvellous job !
Last November. Installing and finishing drywall (plasterboard) in a closet. I've seen worse results. I like trying repairs and DIY projects around the house. Partly because I just want to see if I can do it, but also because it's almost impossible to hire someone to do small jobs. Usually don't care to repeat them.
@Nancy Hart I learned to dislike doing drywall when I built our home outside of Phoenix. 200 sheets! And to think I had earlier worked in a plant which manufactured drywall! Frank
Uh oh. I wrote the first check of the year last week. Now you got me wondering if I put the right year on it.
