Now it's almost dark it will be even more treacherous for drivers.... and all around here we are surrounded by woodland so lots of trees will come down on the roads , very scary..
Thankfully my O/H has just walked through the door, safe. he said the drive home was a bit of a nightmare..but at least he's home now!!
Can you tell I'm thinking about the beach this morning. I'm so excited that on Feb. 22nd I will be leaving to go spend 4 days in a Condo at the beach in Florida with my sisters. We will be celebrating my birthday and the birthday's of two of my others sisters who have February birthdays. Hopefully we will have some nice weather days with sunshine while we are there. It's been quite awhile since we have all been able to get together at one time so we all are looking forward to our time together. And I'm looking forward to the beach because it's been quite a while since I've been there too. I've enjoyed having this extra time to play on the computer...but I haven't been enjoying the illness that allowed me to have this time and I'm so ready to be back to full health again. Hope all of you are enjoying good health and I hope each of you has a very special Sunday. Here's a few pics of things I think are cute and cheerful
Well, I remember some of you kept wanting to see a picture of us, so here we are at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, in Cheyenne, Wyoming last July 2018. Now, do we really look like we should be living here in Florida or in Colorado/that area?
Can't see the picture Cody Ooops oh you mean in your avatar.? can't see it very well but from what I can see, you look like a good looking couple...
Morning all.... Drizzy grey, cold morning, but at least the Storm has abated... 3 dead in total sadly... No damage to our place thank goodness
Click on the avatar to make it a little bigger. At least that's what I did to make it bigger, but the actual "avatar" for replying, is smaller.
Honestly, you look like a very nice couple who are very comfortable dressed in cowboy/cowgirl outfits. As for where you should be living...all I can say after reading all your posts...is definitely you should not be living in Jacksonville, FL any longer. I hope you and your wife will be happy wherever you two end up moving and I know we all look forward to enjoying the benefits of your living in a place where hopefully you will be happier. Here's what a cowboy looks like to me.
Well, Babs, as I have told some others, I spent numerous years in pro-rodeo, owned a Quarter Horse/roping horse, worked for a short time at a Livestock Sales Yard in Oklahoma, was a horseback Trail Guide for a Regional Park, have visited the largest Stockyards in the U.S. aka OKC Stockyards and the Stockyards in Billings, MT. So, I don't just feel comfortable in Western clothing, I've "been there/done that" with some Western stuff. The cowboy you are showing is Tom Selleck aka an actor. A rodeo cowboy won't look so "rough", but a "working ranch cowboy" will. Actually, "working ranch cowboys" have their own rodeo organization and wife and I have been to one of their rodeos.
