Listening to and understanding the layout in the 23 minute video should alert everyone into realizing what is actually happening. BUT sadly the attention span for far to many Americans is reduced to a few words on twitter. Explaining & backing up claims with video of the behind the scenes puppeteers actual words should remove any doubt about the truth of his claims.
Bless her heart, somebody must like her, after all they elected her. And I expect she's having fun. After being a waitress I expect she can handle all the remarks and puns coming her way. She'll get up to speed pretty quick. We need someone to offset the jerk kneed, stiff necked lifers in the Congress. She's a dandy, bless her heart. And like it or not, there's always been a few far out left wingers and a bunch of radical right wingers. I expect we always will, at least in the USA.
It is a totally scary scenario. Liberals will label those who can see this as "Conspiracy Nuts", but they appear to be fairly public with their intentions. I hate to bring up Hitler, but historians have said that anyone who read Mein Kampf knew exactly what he was going to do, as he laid out much of his intent in that rambling book. The same may be true here. Anyone who names their group "The Young Turks" is sending up a flag and announcing the extent of what they intend to do. New York is often the place chosen for wacky candidates, and the loose candidate requirements there is why Hillary Clinton decided to run for Senate from there. Minnesota is another of those places where the electorate doesn't seem to know what they are doing, e.g., Jessie Ventura, Al Franken, etc.
You know New York is a populated state and rather mainstream. They carry a lot of clout. The conservative republican party has gotten about all the membership they can hope for. Trump and Hitler are a closer match it would seem to me. In fact I'm surprised somebody hasn't already shot him. It looks to me like we're going to have to go with the flow, go along to get along, or compromise a bit. The left is not all bad. The right still has some good to be found. Otherwise the day may come when each party may want to put the other out on reservations or ghettos. Right wing conservatism has gone about as far as it needs to go, otherwise it may not survive. Socialism ideals can go just so far. Otherwise we will disregard the constitution and wind up so fragmented and become easy picking for the likes of a partnership between the Chinese and Russians. I don't think it is scary. Maybe challenging. I think we've hindered and tried to block the minority vote about all we can. This is not just white man's country any more. Or conservative's country. And I hope not socialist's. It appears to me the country is going more leftist for some period of time. We're going to have to live with it. Go with the flow as it were. Frankly, it seems like an exciting time for youthful America. We old gizzards can go with the flow or wring our hands and say how awful it is. In the near future we are not going to have a much say. Perhaps the young Mr Trumps and the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and associates will lead and guide America forward.
New Yorkers view Trump more favorably than Ocasio-Cortez, according to a poll conducted by the Siena Research Institute. -- Elder Statement
I don't think McCain was a good candidate in any case, but the one good thing he did was to save Alaska from Sarah Palin. She nearly bankrupted the state in the 18 months she was in the governorship. On the national stage, she is reputed to be a conservative, but nothing could be further from the truth. She is a social conservative, but fiscally liberal to the extreme. McCain's campaign was floundering. That is why he picked her. He wanted to get attention focused on his candidacy.
It doesn't matter what registered voters in NYState think. It matters what the people in her congressional district think. They think they like her just fine. "Trump, though, triggered a larger group of people who viewed him unfavorably, 60 percent, compared to Ocasio-Cortez's 44 percent." from the article, writing about the same poll.
No thanks Lulu. No arguments that Social security is a Ponzi scheme or that income taxes are not constitutional. Just my way of getting back the money the government collected from me ( over 60 years) and are still collecting, for the benefit of others. If I last a few more years, then I might feel guilty.
Social Security and Medicare were forced on us, in much the same way that we are forced to buy automobile insurance. My opinions on automobile insurance policies have nothing to do with whether or not I will collect on a policy that I have been paying for. Medicaid is only slightly different. Although Medicaid is not a line item on our tax reports, every working person has paid into it throughout his working years.
