Even if this thread went astray the news behind this is just coming out and it might show that a lot of these elite universities are just a pay for play scam. Some are getting a credited honors for sports they did not even participate. The rich can also pay people to take the exams for their children. As this goes forward and proven what about the people who got their diploma on false pretense will they be taking them back?

I would "assume" that if the person was able to complete the curriculum and graduate, that they had earned the degree. Unless some more shenanigans went on with buying their grades, too. I saw that USC may be tossing out the actresses daughter though.

As I understand it from an informed source, students almost never flunk out of Ivy League schools; the competition is in the admission process. Once you get in, you graduate.

 

It scares you that most government officials graduated from those schools.
