18 F. this morning, but it will get into the high 40s this afternoon. Still bright and sunny with almost no wind. @Holly Saunders with a nerve block and stitches it sounds as though he removed the lesion rather than do a biopsy. I have had a couple of those done myself, although they were on my head so they couldn't do a nerve block...it is already numb enough.
Oh trust me... I know about insect bites that last for months! Did this happen to have black pits in the skin deep ones ?
No, nothing like that..just an ever enlarging red lump... which itched occasionally, but has been there for the better part of 6 months or longer...
This scar is about 8-9 years old..but was bit by a Asp ....lives in trees here. Never had any real pain but resembled shingles at first..no itch nothing. But the whites on this scar were filled with a hard black material..was nasty looking and doctor said I could not cover it up. In reatil work this became a conversation piece. Took months to go away.
So she's first coming here to where I live and then to Scotland where I was born and raised.. and then to Ireland where all my ancestors are from... I know all of those places, and I wouldn't want to go to them in April which is typically very wet.. I hope the sun shines on her for once.. BTW it's raining now here in London, and freezing cold with high winds...
Blimey that's a big area isn't it?... My arm is really hurting today, can't lean on my elbow at all even though its very well bandaged up.. gotta stay like that for 12 days even after I have the stitches out.. no idea why, but hey I'll just do it, anyway...
