I've seen him in many movies, sitcoms, but what i remember most is the Telethon he televised every Labour Day weekend, hosting donations for "His Kids " as he so referred them as his. I think i remember was for all children with disabilities, MS, MD, so many more. would watch it Saturday nite through Sunday right up to Monday when came to close. The thousands of dollars donated in the start so long ago, right up to the Millions collected at the ending. Don't quite remember how many years Jerry hosted this, i do remember i was very young when i saw it first, continued watching into adult years. Because of poor health, he had to discontinue.
