Am I Facing Breast Cancer?

I will answer this but another day @Holly Saunders because today I'm just feeling overwhelmed by it all.

 

Oh of course you are dear, just take things easy and try to stay as relaxed as is humanly possible...

I do too... and that means that people from many corners of the world are thinking specifically of Babs, and wishing every good thing for her, surely the Lord who looks after Babs has to be listening with all that mental crowd funding !!..

 

Hi everyone. Sorry I've taken so long to update y'all on my journey with Breast Cancer. I finally had surgery and it wasn't canceled this time. My final decision was just to have the breast with cancer taken off. My surgery was on October 9th and I woke up to no pain and no nausea...and have not had any real pain or nausea even though it's been a week and a day since my surgery now. Yesterday I got my 2 drains taken out and tomorrow I can take my first full shower since having surgery. God is so awesome! I asked Him to pick my surgical team, my Nurses, and my Home Health Aides and this surgery has been a true "miracle" in so many ways.

 

Such a great positive post Babs - keep going down that road to recovery

 

Above are pictures of me about an hour and a half after my surgery and the next afternoon after I got home and got to put my pajamas on and sleep in my own bed. The Joy of the Lord is all over my face in both pictures. I asked God to bless with His Joy during my surgery, etc. and it was so awesome how He did just that! No one could believe I had just had surgery. I was also blessed that some of my sisters and one of my brothers came to be with me the day of my surgery. I had to be at the hospital for 9am but did not have my surgery until at least 2pm that afternoon and was home again around 1:30pm the next day. Now I understand how God can take something that is ugly...and turn it into a beautiful experience.

Hi Babs... you look absolutely Incredible..!! ..thank you so much for the update we've all been very concerned about you..!!

Are you still very tired? are you in much pain? .. how has your husband coped with it all..? I'm very pleased for you that you had such great family support on the day of your surgery!!
