Tonights Dinner At The Old Folks Home Assisted Living

Shrimp Scampi on pasta with Bok Choy was last night's dinner here at the Assisted Living Dining Room.
I sure don't miss doing my own cooking.

 

Gourmet Meat Loaf with mashed potato & gravy, parmesan cauliflower, Cabernet Sauvignon wine.

 

I am furnished with a daily menu that lists the meal choices for all three meals and see that one of the choices for tonight is Beef Wellington one of my favorite meals. So I will take my own bottle of wine and go to the dining room shortly. BON APPETIT!!

 

I love Beef Wellington....

 

Looks delicious!! I might have mash and asparagus tonight too, not sure what meat tho'.. or maybe I could have fish...

 

I am looking at the Menu for tonights dinner and think I will have Filet Mignon with Cab Reduction & Roasted Parsnips with a small Caesar Salad. Pinot Noir Wine ----Turtle Brownies for desert. I will go to the dining room shortly and post picture later.

 

I was going to say you eat REALLY late, but then realized you were in a way different time zone.

 

That's made me very hungry now Lon..and it's 2.30 am here!!

 

I want to watch the San San Francisco 49's football on TV at 5 PM. My legs are bothering me & I don't feel like taking my walker down to dinner to night so for $5.00 billed to my monthly rent I am having a Small Caesar Salad, Baked Lasagna with Ricotta,Spinach,Mozzarella and Marinara Sauce, Red Wine. One of the staff girls will bring this to my apartment between 5 to 5:30.

That is a really good price for room service!! Hope you enjoy your game......and your meal.
