Don't Bitch--Don't Complain On Forums. We don't care. Instead-- Tell your local elected officials of your concerns.

awww c'mon Lon.... everyone needs someone to offload onto, even if they're trying to change things elsewhere .. be kind!!

Remember lots of people on these forums don't have friends or families who they can talk to, the world has changed a lot, more people than ever use forums to interact with people, rather than in real life.. there's still Real people behind these keyboards.. :) !!

At our age, @Lon Tanner , if we didn't b*tch or complain........WHATEVER would we talk about!! :D

I think you are probably suggesting people actually get involved in politics, instead of just complaining from their EZ chairs. You are right.

The problem of today, and this is just plain "reality"...…..people can TRY and do something about complaints, but don't most complaints simply get avoided?

There are those that think a Pawn Shop, Strip Club or Adult Theater brings down a neighborhood, but if a city counsel approves any of these, no matter what the community thinks, those establishments go in. Many city counsel members think "money is money, no matter where it comes from".

    That's true...

Thank Goodness we don't have any of those things in my nearest little town...

Complaints will not get ignored when those that ignore them get HIT IN THE POCKETBOOK.

Do you attend city council meetings? If not, then why not? Council members appreciate input from the community. And if they pass things that you don't agree with... vote them out. You are not powerless. Does your city have zoning laws?

We seen at least one Pawn Shop, that looked better than many Pawn Shops I've seen before. We have also seen a couple of Massage Parlors, but what exactly goes on inside, don't know...……..and really don't want to know.

We live in the old end of this city. Anyone would think that, where we live, is a retirement area due to the lack of entertainment. At 9PM, very little traffic and fairly dark. Guess that's one major thing that the Seniors here like, the quietness here at 9PM. So, not all is bad.

We have Massage Facilities (Parlors you say) through out our community. Seniors love a good body massage. Cody--Why would you wonder what goes on? Evil be to him who evil thinks.
