@Hal Pollner It's suppah when we eat at home. It's dinner when we go to a restaurant. And I spelled suppah right.
@Holly Saunders No, dinner is a word that comes from away(anything not native to Maine is from away).
But suppah is the way to pronounce supper. It's along the same lines as the way we pronounce lobstah.
My husband has gone to check on his mom. He said on his way home he'd pick something up for dinner, so he's bringing me one of the new Burger King "meatless" Whoppers to try. I'll report back.
Tonight I had Ham, beans and mashed potato.. just had it in fact, and it's 10.30pm.. Gonna be up for a while, because hubs is working overnight, and I took a nap about 6pm, which means I'll be awake half the night...
I can't even remember the last time I had anything from a Burger King. But all the hoopla around the new meatless Whopper has me curious!!
Well, I had my meatless Whopper. It was actually pretty good; the texture and flavor were very "meaty." So I'd say it was a win, though I probably won't ever get another one.
