A lot of conspiracy theorists expect the DNC to whip out a surprise candidate before the convention. Money's on Hillary or Michelle. Ugh, and double ugh.

The only Democrat I liked in the past 60 years was JFK.

I adored him until I found out what he was really like. I really believed in the Camelot fantasy.

I’m no conspiracy theorist but I still have my money on Abdul El-Sayeb. He’s a Muslim running for governor of Michigan and he’s backed by Soros.
Yeah, I know I’m a little redundant on the subject but all of his credentials are in order, he’s smart, well spoken and has the ability to get all the money he’s going to need to run.

All these idiotic shenanigans with the dem debates is, to me, a massive subterfuge. I have never heard nor seen so much stupidity on one stage in my life and the bottom line is that not one of the guys and gals on the stage can come close to beating D. Trump.
The puppet masters are showing the weak players just to bring in a ringer and I really believe the ringer is going to be Sayeb.

It depends on how strongly one supports Israel and/or Russian expansion in the Middle East.

I remember Mark Shields making a negative comment about Gabbard's candidacy on PBS back in the spring, and it puzzled me why he would single her out. He didn't expand on why, and I never heard any more about it until just recently, so I tried to find out.

Gabbard was endorsed by David Duke, although she disavowed his endorsement. He endorsed her because of her policies concerning the Middle East. Duke has long been an opponent of Israel.

Duke's Tweets, and his endorsement in DavidDuke.com way back in 2016.

Tulsi Gabbard for Secretary of State! An example of the need for political realignment

Gabbard met with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in Syria in January 2017 on a private fact-finding mission, and supports the Assad regime there. The Russian troll machine started promoting Gabbard with some videos, because her policies in the Middle East would also aid the expansion of Russian influence there. Russia is already aligned with Iran. If they gain influence over Saudia Arabia too, well, those are two oil producing countries. And I do think such an alliance would be bad for Israel.

Yes, I'm aware of David Duke's "endorsement," and her denouncement of it. Of course the democratic Old Guard has made sure that it comes back to the headlines since her verbal skirmish with Hillary. I'm sure they'll dredge up the fact that she worked for her father's anti-gay organization in the early 2000's as well.

    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/rep-tulsi-gabbard-gets-2020-endorsement-from-david-duke-2019-10-19

“I have strongly denounced David Duke’s hateful views and his so-called ‘support’ multiple times in the past, and reject his support,” she told The Post in a statement Tuesday.

Publicizing Duke’s so-called ‘endorsement’ is meant to distract from my message: that I will end regime-change wars, work to end the new cold war and take us away from the precipice of a nuclear war, which is a greater danger now than ever before.”

@Beth Gallagher: . If the conversation is just meant to be about the spat between the two, then I agree. Hillary Clinton should have stayed out of it. It is just chatter that distracts. Gabbard is polling at only 1%.

I just wanted to figure out what the heck the beef was all about in the first place, and what the "Russian asset" name calling was all about. Sorry to interrupt.

Oh my goodness, Nancy. You absolutely did NOT "interrupt." These are conversations we all need to have! I appreciate your input very much.

I don't know what would be worse, the deep Muslim roots or the Soros association. All in all, most Muslims are good people, but a leader who is born and raised to hate Israel, could open up a can of ugly deadly worms. And Soros, well, he and Michael Moore need to be exiled to a deserted island.
