Afternoon folkies.... It's almost 2pm here and it hasn't stopped raining since 2am...., a real grey grim day. I had to have the kitchen light on when I went to make my lunch at mid-day...
A rainy day here, too, but at least it is not as cold as it was the last couple of weeks and we are back to more normal winter temperatures for northern Alabama. It is one of those kind of days where I think that I could just go back to sleep again, but I am here and having my morning coffee with a sliced Winesap apple to go with it.
Well, the snow is still coming down here. Will have at least two feet when it stops around noon. Then another dose of a few inches on Friday. Actually, it's unbelievable how much snow has come down. If there would've been wind, this would have been a full-blown blizzard! Absolutely NOTHING is moving in our apartment complex right now! Going to end up buying a humidifier to help with our breathing/sinus problem here. The air here is much dryer than it was in northeastern Florida, however, the humidity in the summer there is absolutely terrible.
One thing for sure, we are going anywhere today or possibly tomorrow. Right now it is 23 degrees. Hey, this is Colorado and we live right next to the foothills that go into the Rocky Mountains.
