Today non traditional. Bought an 12 lb. whole USDA boneless NY rib roast to BBQ. That with all the typical summer BBQ fixings a nice surprise for our family.

Same here. Went to Smith's to get bakery fresh sub rolls & mozzarella cheese, sliced left over strip steak roast & there you have it Philly Cheese steak sandwiches.
I've just been snacking all evening.. My daughter arrived for a flying visit from Spain, and we had Cod in tempura batter ..then she went off to visit some business associates this evening , and I've been eating, Blue cheese on Crackers.. and then I had a fried egg on wholemeal bread about an hour later... , must have worms or something.. Tomorrow we're all going out for lunch at the village pub... !
We were out all afternoon and into the early evening having a very long lunch at a nearby village pub to celebrate early Christmas with my daughter...as we won't see her at all over the festive season, as it's the busiest time for her so she doesn't get time to celebrate at all We all had different starters, .. .I had Scallops wrapped in parma Ham ( they had been deep fried in a mild chilli type of breaded coating)... then for mains I had Roast Rump of British Lamb, with baby roast potatoes, honey roasted root vegetables and bacon wrapped French bean parcels with redcurrant sauce Then for dessert.. which I rarely ever have..I chose.. Crepes Suzette Wafer thin pancakes in a rich orange caramel sauce flamed with Grand Marnier with vanilla pod ice cream
All the kids and grandkids came to my house today. We ordered a couple of pizzas and other side foods. I couldn't eat any of it, but everyone else was happy and I didn't have to cook.
