@Cody Fousnaugh , given all the work you'll be putting in to create your Christmas village, I hope you're going to post a photo of it here.. :D

Yes @Bess Barber , we still send a few Christmas cards.. but not in the post any more. To our neighbours they just get popped through their letterbox, as they do to us too no stamp needed.... and to work colleagues ( not mine now I'm retired).. just hubs, so he takes a big bundle that I write out for him to distribute .... and personal friends and family get their cards inside the wrapped gifts . The only one we send in the post is to the church.. they're always the very first to send a card, and it's the only one we've received this year so far..

It will be the exact same way. Same table and everything.

Most everything in ours lights up. This includes battery operated things, like the Ferris Wheel. When we turn out all of the room lights, this Christmas Village REALLY comes to life with lights.

Just finished, this afternoon, putting up lights all the way around the inside of our patio. Along with the bush lights, we will really be lit up!

I know this is laughable to most everyone, but I haven't put up my exterior Christmas lights because it's too cold.
I don't have gloves and scarfs and it's been in the low 60's during the day. Therefore, I have NOT been outside for three days. :D

@Lois Winters That jar would be a good way to give a collector matchbox vehicle to someone....or any type which would fit in the lid. I gave my dad a miniature camper one year to commemorate his fun RV years and this would've been such a cute way to give it to him.
