Like chicken fried rice, eggrolls, sweet n sour chicken, orange glazed chicken, but trash all if I can get STEAK!
I can have steak any time , I've kinda gone off them in the last few years , altho' I had one a few weeks ago for the first time in a long time.. *meh*... I prefer Lamb , or chicken..but even then, I've cut back a lot in red meat compared to how much I used to have . I eat much more fish..a little chicken, and probably red meat once a week. Tonight I had roast beef... I'd rather have the Chinese food out of your choices than the steak ...
No, because we were streaming the Army Navy game on my phone. Not the greatest party we've ever had, sadly.
I haven't a clue what the Army & navy games is... however, it's a pity that took over the enjoyment of the party...
It is a football rivalry between the U.S. Military Academy(Army-West Point) and the U.S. Naval Academy(Navy-Annapolis) that spans 120 years and is a must for every red blooded American to watch. I was in the Air Force and they think of us as a bunch of pampered prep school kids who are over spoiled. And the Marines are called the Men's Department of the Navy. It is really all in good fun as when push comes to shove we are all brothers and sisters under the skin. Frankly, the game was more enjoyable than the party and we left early. The food was good, that's all.
Oh in all the years I've been mixing with American's this is the first time I"ve heard it mentioned... sounds interesting. I was a Naval wife, my first husband was in the Royal Navy and at one time we were given a married quarter on an RAF Camp, while ex o/h was shore based at a top secret base for about a year ..previous to that our Quarters had always been on Naval bases . There was quite the rivalry.. the Navy are seen as the ''senior service here'' followed by the RAF, and then the Marines and finally the army. No love lost between the army and navy.. but the Navy and RAF and to a certain extent the marines are seen more as brothers in arms
