Since I took down most of the Christmas décor, inside, and all of it outside, wife is taking me to Chili's this evening for a pork spare ribs dinner. Will share one, like we generally do. We get the normal "rub", which is so, so good.
My husband has been over at MIL's so he's picking up dinner on his way home. I ordered a bacon white cheddar cheeseburger so I can see if it sets off my heart monitor.
We had cabbage with ham, onions, carrots and potatoes for dinner. Simple and delicious. I think that it is called New England Boiled Dinner ? @Lois Winters , do you know if I have the correct name for this meal ?
Left over rotisseri chicken casserole. left over Rotisseri chicken, cauliflour, green beans, 1/2 bag fresh spinach. pantry cream of celery soup, onion, garlic, extra sharp cheddar cheese, dried parsley & fresh basil. I don't know the quantities since my wife put this together. All I know is there was a decent amount of the cheddar baked on top just before she took it out of the oven.
Haha. When you're still the "chief cook and bottle washer," you have to start your dinner plan early, Lois!!
