I do not trust their product. We've tons of supermarkets to obtain our food from and I know it is fresh.
I buy the bananas at Walmart because my regular store doesn't always have them. I always sample green grapes(1) because they can be real sour.
I wash everything that can be washed, especially food. The rest I wipe with slightly damp paper towels, and dry with a dry towel, EVERYTHING that we buy, not just food items. Bacteria and viruses stay on items for up to 72 hours after being touched or sneezed on. And even if not sneezed directly on it germs are floating in the air and land on everything. Then there is oil, exhaust fume soot, grime, dirt and dust from warehouses, truck, ship and train transportation. Dirty forklifts, dirty carts, pallets and conveyor belts. Items also are handled by numerous people before it reaches our homes. How clean are their gloves or hands.. not very. They have also been stored and shipped with the numerous toxic chemical perfumed oil dispensers, laundry, cleaning and personal care items that have been popular for 15 years now. Those products are so invasive they are absorbed into or transfer onto everything near or in contact with them. I have returned to stores bakery items, bags of flour and many other items that have absorbed these perfume chemicals and smell and taste like them. People saturated heir bodies and everything they own in these toxic chemical perfumes and then wonder why they have cancer, immune system and lung diseases...hummm....not healthy!
I occasionally shop at Walmart and have never been disappointed or thought their food was any different from any other grocer. Our local Walmart has an excellent deli and bakery.
