Afternoon all... Not a great Saturday for us... part of our living room ceiling has collapsed, we had a leak from our hot water boiler in a room directly above which has damaged the ceiling , so we've had to call for an emergency plumber and a carpenter/decorator to come and fix it... they say they'll be here as soon as they can but we've been waiting 2 hours now. Got buckets catching the water now it's slowed to a drip Hope you all have a better Saturday

What an unhappy way to start your day, @Holly Saunders ! Dealing with those sorts of things is no fun at any time, and having it happen on a weekend when it takes longer to get the problem attended to by a professional, is even worse. That must have been a seriously bad leak if it has collapsed part of your ceiling ! Well......just remember it could have been worse.........what if it had been right over your bed instead ? (Just kidding, and I hope you can get it repaired right away)
