Since I am mostly a homebody anyway I can't really say that I have cabin fever...but I do miss seeing my grandkids...especially the youngest ones. I'm thankful that my daughter sends me pictures of them often but it's so much better to be with them in person and get some of their hugs, etc.

I am thankful that my Honey is home with me too. Today his boss came by and brought his check and told my husband that he is not to come back to work until this virus thing passes but that he will still get his paycheck hand delivered to him each pay day. We are both thanking God for this blessing that we did not expect.

We are pretty much home anyway, but today went to Baby Wally for a few more supplies , and topped off the gas tank, just to be safe. Gas was $1.89 here.
People keep saying that they are hearing that that things might get stricter next week, and I have seen some news articles that said everything except absolutely necessary businesses are to close down.
I don’t know if that includes grocery stores, but I am hoping not. Everything seemed pretty normal at Walmart , and just a few empty spaces on shelves, so things must be pretty well re-stocked now, and people are just doing normal shopping.

I just read the news article from Pennsylvania, and it looks like there is not problem, things like grocery stores, gas stations, banks, will still be open, and restaurants can still do take out.

Have done my grocery and mail trips downtown, not there very long, hand washing often, which isn't a new thing, always have done that, not a frequent coffee person in the restaurant, or meals out, kind of a loner, so staying clear of this issue, is not a hardship for me, just wish we could wake up some morning.....SOON.....and it will be all over.

Here here. My brother his wife and their housemate are in self isolation while the housemate's colleague is being tested for the virus. When it hits close to home it kinda puts the whole situation into perspective.. and I dont like it. My brother however remains confident.

Both our supermarkets were chocka with new supplies after the recent panic buying. So despite some item limitations per customer we were able to get almost all we wanted to last us at least a fortnite.

Depending on what time of the day, I guess, our grocery store runs out of toilet paper and paper towels every day, but they are restocking more frequently now than before, so it's not like it isn't available. People are still hoarding it, I guess, although I don't know how much toilet paper people figure they'll need. I had about a half a case before all of this started, then I ordered another case. When people were telling me they were out of it on Amazon.com, I ordered another case just to see. But I'm not even close to having to open the first of the two cases that I ordered.

The need for all this toilet paper gives one pause to consider the fact that what is actually wrong with society today is: it has become totally anal.

I've been going out 2 times daily to get my mail at the po and to buy iced coffee.
Tomorrow I plan on going out for my weekly shopping. I'll be doing it at 6:30 instead of my normal 9:30

We are planning on going out tomorrow AM. Head over to our boat and clean off any snow that is still on it (full boat cover) from yesterday's snowstorm. Will stop at either, or both, local grocery store and Walmart, for a pack of toilet paper, some distilled water (our two humidifiers) and (hopefully) some hamburger.

There are a number of people in our complex that are working from home. Our new neighbor goes to work every Mon thru Fri, but his work is inside his truck as he drives around and observes work that has been done and takes notes on it. He's a really nice guy and his two young kids are adorable. IOW, very little-to-no movement in our complex currently.

$1.89? We pay around $2.40 now in PA. We have a gas tax to pay for the worst roads in the country.

One thing for sure, I'm not bored. Have plenty to do in our apartment. OTOH, my wife can get fairly bored, since she really, really misses working.

Me and my woman are sheltering in place. We don't go out. I send a message out to my som with a list of groceries once a week, more often if necessary.
My neighbor on the east side, who bought my car, has come over and rang my door bell and suggested once more he/they will be gld to get us anything
we want or need. The school teacher on the westside noticed my car was no longer in my driveway, came over and said, "Any thing we needd she will be
glad to get it for us. She gave us her phone number, said to just call."

I don't get out. For the first time in nine years my wife let me watch a couple of wstern movies. Last night I watched, "Wichita," and ""Winchester 73."

My wife really sucks at sheltering in place, I'm afraid. She spends most of her day driving from one store to another, and we're not in need of anything. She just can't stand being in the house, I guess.

The state just removed all restrictions on fishing in Maine. For the duration of the emergency, no fishing licenses are required to fish in Maine, and the volumes of fishing regulations are suspended. Since Maine is well supplied with rivers, lakes, and ponds, those who enjoy fishing can do so without having to congregate with others.

I have never tried growing a beard or mustache and now might be a good time to give it a go. I will just see how it goes and if I can stand not shaving because I have always been clean shaven.
