Won't make much of a difference in my laid-back, "nothing" lifestyle!:D

I went for a long walk today. There weren't very many people out. A few people doing yard work now that the snow is gone from some areas, and there were a couple of dog walkers. I stopped at a convenience store for some beef jerky while I was walking. It was the first time I have been in a store since all this began. Other than a light plexiglass thing at the counter, I didn't notice anything that was different than usual. There was only one other customer but it was a small store. I didn't buy any but I noticed they had a full shelf of toilet paper, and everything was as well-stocked as before this began.

If something could be done to eliminate those red spores projecting from the Covid-19 cell, it would probably not be contagious at all, and would certainly look less menacing!

I took this screenshot from a video of the face masks being made, not sure if this was in China or somewhere else; but if i even thought i wanted to wear a mask, I would certainly not be thinking so after watching that video !

Same here, Lon. But, many of us are truly sick and we have no choice. I am still trying to get over what I believe was a mild case of this virus. It is believed that as long as it was brought into the community, we are all infected to a degree. I was so sick Sat. evening and all day yesterday, I thought I'd bought it. Some here are receiving Oxygen therapy. I don't know if any are receiving the Quinine drug, but I don't need it. I take large doses of Vit. C and D. Still have a frequent cough and my body feels like I was struck with a bus. On top of that, we are in full blossom with all this nice weather and my allergies are also in full bloom. So, I just rest and stay well hydrated.

Sounds like a smart bunch of Seniors to me......not to gather.

IOW, do we want to stop/slow this virus or not? That is the real question!

Well, with all this rest and getting some sun today, I am feeling better, Lon. I swear, if we all could get some fresh air and sunshine, we'd be better off. I get out with the dog an have been extending my walks regardless of how I feel. There isn't another soul to be seen except for some kid on the University soccer field practicing all by himself.

Just came in again after out looking for the dog. She gets weird everytime there is a full moon and I was out beating the bushes looking for her. No luck. Called the cops and after putting out a BOLO on her she came bounding up to the door. Have no idea where she was, but she drank a half a bowl of water. No more evening outings without me.

I shouldn't admit it but some aspects of this lock down I really like. In town it's like being in the country. So quiet. No traffic. Rarely a soul even walking on the street. No dogs barking. No junk mail and no serious phone calls.

But I dislike going to the grocery store. It feels like everyone thinks you are an enemy. The pollen this year is the worst I've seen. Last time just before I walked into the grocery something got in my throat, I suspect pollen dust. Couldn't quit coughing and had short sleeves. I knew people would be alarmed and run away in terror, or call an ambulance. Went back out to the truck and coughed it out, whatever it was.

If something goes wrong how much trouble would it be to fix it? I guess Lowe's is still open. Not sure if you can go inside.

Example: The PC started beeping this morning, and went into sleep mode all by itself, twice. Beeping could be the motherboard it says. All I could think to do was vacuum the vents that were dusty. It stopped beeping, but who knows. It is 5 years old. That I would miss. A lot.

I guess I could use the smartphone and order a new one. The phone is too big for your pocket but it would be a nightmare to try to shop using it.

I know what you mean about the coughing thing. In the spring, I sometimes get the sneezes , I think because of the extra pollen, and I always have a little cough that is part of my heart condition; but I rarely ever actually get a cold or get sick.
Now, I worry the whole time I am shopping, for fear I might sneeze or cough, and everyone would panic (even more than they already do about this).
I have actually sneezed twice just while writing this post; but I promise that I am fine, @Nancy Hart , and no one needs to report me or call an ambulance.

PC just started beeping again. Better do some shopping while I can still use the big screen, just in case.

I know what you mean. I've had a cough, off and on, for years. They've tried various over-the-counter and prescription allergy medications, to no avail. Overall, it's not that big of a problem but I guess I'd be careful not to cough in public. Since all this started, before the lock-down, we went to a couple of restaurants, but nothing was really weird yet at that time. In the past few weeks, I have been in only one store, a convenience store that I went into to get some beef jerky while I was on a walk. Other than plexiglass on the counter, things were pretty normal, and I noticed that they had toilet paper and paper towels. However, we stopped at BJ's, which is like Costco or Sam's Club, for those of you who aren't familiar, yesterday when we went for a drive to Bangor, and their paper towel/toilet paper section was empty. Since they sell only in cases, that's where the hoarders go, I guess.

What annoys me, or would annoy me if I didn't already have a good supply, is that they don't allow anyone to buy more than four rolls at a time. If the objective is to keep people at home, as it is because they're now suggesting shopping no more often than every two weeks, they are forcing people to go out every day or every other day just for toilet paper. That doesn't make sense.
