"Given the favorable data"....Our genius governor, Brian Kemp, is ordering statewide opening of the following, as of Friday, April 24th, subject to social distancing and sanitation mandates, no local exceptions: Gyms, fitness centers, body art studios, barbers, cosmetologists, and cosmetology schools, hair designers, nail care artists, massage therapists,....and... bowling alleys! You can tell where the priorities lie here. Bowling is not a big sport in the South. He must have a friend with a bowling alley. And as of April 27th, subject to distancing and sanitation rules: Theaters, private social clubs, restaurant dine in services The "Given the favorable data" is a joke. Albany, Georgia (pop. 75,000), and surrounding rural counties in south Georgia, is right now the state's hot spot, overtaking Atlanta in Covid-19 cases per capita.
Here is an interesting fact that happen a short while back don't know if some one was up to no good. Remember the couple of billionaires in Canada Barry and his wife Honey Sherman who were murdered the owners of a pharmaceutical company who just happened to make the generic drugs, specifically Hydroxychloroquine
Yes, shortly we will. Get the old boat "summarized" and checked out, fishing rod holders put back on the gunwales of the boat, hooks and sinkers put on all three freshwater rods and "off we'll go" to local state park lake. That probably won't happen until the first of June, but we can wait.
I was hoping to follow my 5.5-mile hike up with a 6.0 mile one but now we have snow on the ground again. I do think that, given that exercise builds up the immune system, and sunlight plays a part too, that might be a good idea.
-- Bangor Daily News On Wednesday, less than half of Maine’s 314 critical care beds were occupied, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Of those that were in use, the vast majority were filled with patients who had not been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Our national paper is carrying a front page image of Jan Doble an 84 year old Covid-stricken woman resident locked behind the doors of a Sydney aged care facility accusing the home of neglecting residents during the coronavirus crisis. The woman says she is "trapped, distressed and feels neglected". Jan's son and other families of residents are outraged and want answers from the home's owners and supervisor. To date the home has had some 45 cases of Covid-19. Thankfully this is not the norm of nursing homes during this terrible time. But one or two is two too many. Instances like the story below has prompted a Federal government inquiry into the running of aged care homes. Not too soon if what is happening to Jan Doble and her fellow residents is fact. A Sydney nursing home found to have failed 24 counts of care standards has been allowed to continue operating. Carino Care in the Sydney suburb of Russell Lea failed to manage residents' medication, and has had people in its care die in pain and distress, as well as from malnourishment. However, the new government watchdog has ruled the facility can stay open until November. The family of former resident Luigi Cantali is outraged by the decision, saying the facility's neglect "definitely" played a part in the 80-year-old's death. Speaking to Today, Cantali's daughter Eva Rinaldi said she witnessed the mistreatment of her father when visiting him at the facility. "I would rock up late at night, about 10pm, and I would see him sitting in urine with no shoes on, on the floor," Rinaldi told Today. "The door would be shut and he would be wrapped up in a sheet, just shivering. That was when he caught bronchitis"
The US state of Missouri says it is suing the Chinese government over its handling of the coronavirus which it says has led to severe economic losses. In the lawsuit, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt alleges China did little to stop the spread of the virus. Mr Schmitt claims Missouri residents have suffered possibly tens of billions of dollars in economic damages. China's foreign ministry denounced the move, saying the "frivolous lawsuit has no factual or legal basis". I wonder if this will be the start of many. Will the Federal government also sue Communist China? I am waiting to see what my Federal government does over this issue. It is already galvanizing world support against WHO and has criticized China over its earlier handling of the coronavius.
Okay, here’s another case of stupidity. A mom gets arrested and handcuffed for letting her kids use a public swing. In this case, the community is peacefully protesting in front of the arresting officer’s house. https://prepforthat.com/idaho-prote...S1slxHJ6mkXCawxiw7UammmovMW99GkJTqb-yI5mhBOD8
Schmitt is running for reelection. Republican primary is on August 4, 2020. My guess is it's just politics. Playing to the Republican base. Fishing for an endorsement? And it will all be forgotten come December.
And just as an added attraction, hiking in the cold helps build brown fat cells which activate more usage of white fat cells for glucose. Even if you do not see a lot of fat around the belly or whatever, the fat around your heart, lungs, liver etc is a killer and needs to be burned off.
Funny that the medical mafia can scare people so bad that they are willing to take self imprisonment and give up their rights to walk on the beach or even walk down the street. The main group of people who are affected by this virus is people with preconditions another words people who are customers of the drug industry. Most people who are healthy have little to no symptoms.
Fear is a great motivator. That's why they keep us going from one crisis to another, and most people follow. False Evidence Appearing Real
If you see this virus cannot be compared to any other because it is not even close to be as dangerous and the 1957 Asian flu killed 116,000 in the US and was a lot more dangerous than this one and not the panic that the world is going through this is a scam on the world brought to you by the medical mafia
