Adopting a Dog or Cat from an approved Shelter gives you the opportunity of visiting with it in a private "Get Acquainted" room, which we have done with our 2 Dogs and 2 Cats. Craigs List gives no such opportunities...you don't know what you've got until you get it ! Harry
