Bill, you sure look laid back!!!! You look like you wouldn't hit a lick at a rattlesnake. Pretty flowers.
It wouldn't be the first time. In far west Texas I had customers locate dens for me then go out with me to photograph some of them. From Guyman, Oklahoma to SanAngelo, TX. One summer I had so many dens to check out I didn't get any work done.
I was in a camera club andwe all tried to out do each other. You had to sor of go out of your way because we had several professional photographers and they all pushed us to do better. That's why. And it was a lot of fun. That was back in the days of film and I was younger. Now I'm old and lost the touch, but it is still fun since i can't get out and play golfand am more or less home-bound.
Okay world, I finally got myself on Instagram and I have posted three or four pictures on my daughter's account. But to be honest, it looks like so very much to learn and now so little time.
Bill, I would call that going way out of the way. LOL It does sound like quite an adventure, though. Do you still have any of the snake pictures?
No, lost them all when lightning got on my line and fried my hard drive. Most of my work back then was with slides, which just before moving to Oklahoma, I carried out to the trash bin and threw them away, all except one which I gave to my brother. That also included two Slide viewers.
Bill, I'm pretty sure post number 295 is a female purple finch or house finch. That last one is some kind of finch. See his beak?
I didn’t think so but you may be right. He or she is larger than most sparrow and finches around here.
Okay, enough now on birds. I"ve got new neighbors moved in across the street. Haven't met them. Brought a load of boxes last two evenings.. Saturday one U-haul truck and five cars loaded with boxes moved a family into the place. They had a lot of help. If that many are out to help them they can't be all bad.
