Thanks Beth... It was as good as one can expect under these stressful times... Like I said, at my age, I am lucky to keep on having birthdays... You know, getting old is a privilege that not everyone has.....
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I hit that "ripe old age" of 71 yesterday. We are still fairly concerned, since we are both Diabetic 2, and my wife sometimes has asthma problems, to eat inside a restaurant yet. So, we ordered breakfast "take out" and picked it up. Was going to go to Longhorn Steakhouse last night for my "birthday dinner", but ended up cancelling the reservation and got Wendy's instead. Will wait until the first of July before eating inside a restaurant with a later "birthday dinner" for me.
Considering everything, it was a very good day and for the most part, it still is other than the shingles...
Thank you Von. It is funny when we are young every birthday is a big celebration and it opens up opportunities like getting a drivers license or old enough to drink. When you reach older years it is one year closer to death. That is why I lie about my age and say I am 29 again I have only been saying that for 49 years.
Didn’t notice the birthday thread yesterday and obviously you had a safe day yesterday so......May the anniversary of your birth be a foretelling of safety and prosperity. May your heart be glad and your days be unnumbered. Happy Birthday.
