Do you have no family members that carry extra weight? Your mother,sister, daughter,niece? Oh it is an entertaining meme, but it is demeaning sexist, and disrespectful. We as a nation need to look within ourselves and just give a minutes thought to the unthinking hurt we cause others. Stuff like this helps none.

Very true and it really does seem like this officer, but don't know about the others, was going to far. Actually, how often does anyone hearing officers on the scene, tell another officer (or officers) "stop, that's enough" or anything like that. Officers won't pull another officer off of a person, because that person is complaining about something. Most of the time, officer's don't even know there is a medical condition with the suspect they are trying to subdue/arrest. If the caller says nothing to dispatch, the officer's simply won't know.
What I'd like to see now is.......the protestors stop marching, setting fires/destruction/looting and intimating law enforcement and........talk about police reform! No talking is being done, only the above! Perhaps the young people are simply, now, having fun protesting, taunting police and ignoring curfew.
No there's not, but they don't have to keep going. Anyway, a number of them are still violent, with taunting of officers and looting/destruction. Night before last, Monday night, numerous officers were shot by protesters. Absolutely none of this is "peaceful"!! A black dude spent a lot of savings on his business, just to have it disappear with looters. This was in Atlanta, Ga.
In normal times, I'd like to see some smart policing, like some intelligence surveillance to find out who are the trouble makers. It shouldn't be that hard. But I don't trust Bill Barr and the Justice Dept. to keep politics out of the situation. The peaceful demonstrators ought to voluntarily shut down, all at once, before dark. I think in some cities they have figured that out already.
And, in other cities, the young folks just don't care........at all. One sign a young protester was carrying said ""F" The Curfew" (not just the letter, but the full word)
I was following a local discussion on the demonstration that occurred here in Maine and people were defending Antifa by saying "so you're a Fascist" to anyone who mentioned that Antifa was the instigator in most cases.
It isn't just Bill Barr and the Justice Department.... it is EVERYONE. Politics invades every facet of our lives nowadays and it's a damn shame. There is no intelligent discussion to find solutions; just a bunch of hatred and division from both sides.
Ironically, Antifa most closely resembles the Nazi brownshirts. The Democrats, overall, are using Hitler's playbook.
I think we all agree that it was a bad situation and the police man has been charged with murder and the others suspended for now. This does not give people who did not know him the right to burn churches and steal everything they can lay their hands on and even shoot a retired black police captain who was helping defend a friends business [David Dorn] All this rioting has gone way beyond the death of a person.
I am waiting on my stimulus check from George Soros. Never got the last one he was supposed to have sent me for the last riot he organized. Might have to change sides if the White Nationalist Party pays better!
