This week was a bit of an overwhelming week for Amazon orders. Let’s’ see........a new protective cover and band for my Apple Watch, a carb kit and new chain for the Husqvarna 455 chain saw, gun oil and some flash bang grenade shells for the 12 gauge, a chest expander exercise pole and, and, and,............time for bed. I just went Amazon brain dead. Edit: Nope, I didn’t get the shells from Amazon. I looked for them on amazon but I had to buy them from a different company.
Due tomorrow..nail clippers razor blades and a pair of shoes. However have been charged twice for this and can't reach Amazon thru any of their phone numbers. Anyone have another way to reach them ?
@Gloria Mitchell go to look at your oderds and find the item. See if there's any option listed. I had an order and there was one tab "problem with order"
I believe the sequence is: Go to your Amazon account Check the box “returns and orders” check the box for “seller feedback”. Yvonne will probably know a better way because I believe she’s had some on-line chats with Amazon or the seller so when she gets to the IPad portion of her morning I’ll alert her to your problem.
I have always either used the customer service number or their online chat, and they always fix everything right away. It looks like there are quite a few numbers for calling customer service, and I found this website with a bunch of phone numbers and emails; so something here should get you to a person at customer service, @Gloria Mitchell . https://amazon.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html
Gloria--are you sure you were charged twice or is one of the charges the "hold" they put on your card? Amazon has a chat feature that works very well. If you don't get resolution from Amazon, call your credit card company and dispute the extra charge. They'll handle it for you.
Really? Did not know credit cards were handled that way. Usually do debit. Thank you will keep my eye on this.
I stay away from Debit Card usage! I don't care for a 3rd party handling my financial transactions for me! Just Me and the Creditor...that's all! Hal
We had the the opposite experience with Amazon. Recently, I ordered one of those inflatable air mattresses for sunbathing outside this summer. It arrived right on time, but to our surprise, there were TWO of the air mattress boxes ! I double checked the order, and so did Bobby. We only ordered one of them, and I only paid for one of them, so I don’t know why they sent me two. Anyway, this morning, I went to customer service , and used the chat function to ask what we should do with the extra one. They said to just go ahead and keep it; so now we have a spare should we ever need one. How did you come out with your double-billed purchase, @Gloria Mitchell ? Were you able to chat with customer service and get your refund ?
I have not tried yet. I did go to my credit card and now it does my show charges from Amazon at all. Will wait an see happens.
I got another pair of sandals today; thanks UPS! I'll just add them to the pile since I haven't worn shoes in over 3 months now. I'm on a streak.
