I went food shopping and I bought a BBQ chicken that was on special.. Now, that chicken is good for us for 2 meals as I like the leg and Annmarie likes the breast part.. Perfect.. I also bought a Caesar salad kit and that was our supper... Now I do have another meal out of the chicken which will not be for tonight but, for tomorrow.. I don't like serving the same thing 2 nights in a row..

Beth.. We generally don't like to keep leftovers... However with certain foods, leftovers to be frozen are OK with us such as soups, stews, sauces like pasta, and that's about all.. I cook for the 2 of us and usually there isn't any leftover.. Depending … If there is something from a casserole, I will keep it for tomorrow foor me only or throw it in the garbage..
Today is a lovely working outside day.. I will come in at the last minute for supper so I must have something planned in advance.. FISH...……... I have a 450g package of frozen salmon fillets that will thaw in no time in warm water..... I will bread them and pan fry them in oil and butter.. Same here; I only freeze when I have a lot of something left over that I know we will eat later (usually soups.) I try to cook "just enough".
