Awake at 2:06 am .Becoming a habit looks like. Think it may be increase in the med dosage. Hubby awake we got up at 4am. I try not to fight it ..just go with it. Up this early makes me hungary. Couple of biscuts a piece of sausage butter and jelly..ready to go. To do what eccatly..not sure. Anyway, Good Morning to all.
It is quiet again here now, at least until all of the late night revelers wake up again, and start with the firecrackers and loud fireworks. Poor Poodle spent most of last night huddled up on my lap and shaking. Thunderstorms and fireworks terrify that little dog ! Usually, I fall right to sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, but the loud bangs from the firecrackers were still going off when I finally went to sleep anyway. I thought Poodle would end up sleeping on my pillow, but he just snuggled up at my feet like usual, and seemed to do okay, even with all of the noise. Every year, this happens, so we now expect it. What is ridiculous, is that most of the people in this neighborhood are very poor, some don’t even have a vehicle; but when it comes to a holiday, they are all out there, spending lots of money and celebrating. Every morning (when it has not been raining)I am outside for a while and working in the yard and garden, before the weather gets too hot for me to be able to be outside in the heat and humidity. I am getting all of the activity rings closed on my Apple Watch almost every day, except when it is raining too much to go outside.
Fireworks were going off last night and I dealt with it, but tonight is going to be different. PA passed a law allowing regular folks to buy the mega-fireworks formerly restricted to pro's who know how to handle them. One guy got himself killed not far from here last week.
Hard time thinking about celebrating our country . I am disappointed in the behavior of so many Americans.Maybe next year
@Gloria Mitchell The US is just like having a fly swatter in your hand the fly is a real problem until he lands
