It’s just a restaurant.
It’s just to keep from overwhelming the hospitals.
It’s just until the cases go down.
It’s just to flatten the curve.
It’s just a few inmates.
It’s just to keep others from being scared.
It’s just for a few more weeks.
It’s just church. You could still pray.
It’s just prayer.
It’s just until we get a vaccine.
It’s just a bracelet.
It’s just an app.
It’s just for tracing.
It’s just to let people know you’re safe to be around.
It’s just to let others know who you’ve been in contact with.
It’s just a few more months.
It’s just some more inmates.
It’s just a video.
It’s just a post.
It’s just an email account.
It’s just for protecting others from hate speech.
It’s just for protecting others from hurt feelings.
It’s just a large gathering but for protests.
It’s just a few violent protests.
It’s just a little microchip.
It’s just a blood test.
It’s just a test.
It’s just a scan.
It’s just for medical information.
It’s just to store a vaccination certificate.
It’s just like a credit card.
It’s just a few places that don’t take cash.
It’s just so you can travel.
It’s just so you can get your driver’s license.
It’s just so you can vote.
It’s just mail-in voting.
It’s just a few more years.
It’s just a statue.
It’s just a monument.
It’s just a building.
It’s just a song.
It’s just a lyric.
It’s just an anthem.
It’s just a few words.
It’s just a piece of paper.
It’s just a book.
It’s just a movie.
It’s just a TV show.
It’s just a cartoon character.
It’s just a piece of cloth.

It’s just a clump of cells.

Ok? I well understand that we have been fed a steady diet of conflicting information.
You know who I blame that on? Your President. The one person that is supposed to find the best and brightest among us, bring them together form a consensus,formulate a plan, implement that plan.
No! This guy took a virus to be a personal affront,contradicted his experts,(and still does),attempted to attach the virus to his political opponents.
Instead of going in front of the people and laying out the cards, this is what we know, this is what we don't know,he makes stuff up, engages in wild speculation,further widening the divide in this country.
I have no wonder that you are confused.

I wear a mask and follow the science or what the doctors or the news media say. They are about as expert as you can get, I'm sure. They tell me the best route to take
and what to wear getting there. I feeel I'm in good hands.

Regarding The Face Mask

I believe that, for the most part, people do understand the value of wearing a face mask in public.

However there are still some out there who feel that this whole Covid-19 thing is nothing but a lie and it doesn't exist or they feel they are being controlled and losing their rights.

Then there are those who feel they will be the exception and take chances for their own comfort and entertainment without regard for others they will come in contact with.

We are all entitled to our own opinion yet it seems the above mentioned people insist on trampling on those who want to protect themselves .. rather selfish of the attackers.

Choose your own adventure but remember these little bits because they are no different:


Restaurants: No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service

The People: OK! No Problem.


Traffic Laws: Wear a seat belt or get a ticket.

The People: OK! No Problem.


OSHA: While working in certain places you must wear safety goggles and safety gear.

The People: OK! No Problem.


Airlines: You must be seated and wear a seatbelt and have your tray table up when taking off.

The People: OK! No Problem.


TSA: Before getting onto this plane you meed to remove your shoes, your belt, everything from your pockets and go through this x-ray machine.

The People: OK! No Problem.


Surgeon General: Stop smoking, it causes cancer and you might die from it.

The People: OK! No Problem


Grocery Stores: Please wear a mask while you are shopping to help reduce the risk of infecting others with a potential deadly virus.

The People: HOW DARE YOU TAKE AWAY MY PERSONAL LIBERTIES AND RIGHTS !


Do you see the insanity, selfishness and hypocrisy .. do you also see that these protect lives?

You should and you should also note that you still have freedom and you still live.

So what's the problem with people wanting to protect themselves and continue to live .. with their rights still intact?

It may become a permanent law one day that you must wear a mask in public .. what are you going to do then?

They are already doing it in some parts of California .. wear a mask or get a hefty fine.

I realize some of you are just not going to come to your senses and that is your choice but you do not have the right to contaminate the rest of us who are trying to abide by the considerations and rules to protect ourselves and our loved ones just because you don't want to wear a mask.

If a place has a mask policy and you don't like it ..write to them and complain and take your business elsewhere .. that's what you would do under other circumstances.

Nobody is asking you to cut off one leg or one arm .. your rights are not being violated. You still have the freedom to move about .. you are just being asked to do it more thoughtfully and with care and concern for yourselves as well as others.

If you can't do that then you are just plain selfish.

If you don't want to believe this is real and you don't want to go along with simple requests and your life has become so harshly impacted and miserable perhaps it's time for you to choose another country to live in.

This is America .. we have a lot of rights and freedoms .. but along with that comes the responsibility to look out for each other.

Try doing that and stop trying to shame people who are simply trying to live.
