Yeah, what the heck is this about?? I have a standing "subscribe and save" order on Amazon that includes freezer bags, vacuum sealer bags, etc. I noticed this month the 90 pack of 1-gallon freezer bags (Amazon brand) increased from $3.99 to $9.64. What the hell?? (I canceled that order.)
Vit C 500 mg. 250 caps Cable to connect Android phone to RV TV to watch Netflix, HULU, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video Solenoid assembly for old washing machine Drive shaft for Echo power pruner
My latest order from Haze Boulevard advertised on Facebook for $13.97 marked down from $27.97 and Disney's Moana DVD for my granddaughters. We especially like 'Your Welcome' sung by Dwayne Johnson former wrestler name 'The Rock' but they don't know that.
I settled on one guy's product that I've had continued success with (Commercial Bargains.) He sells on Ebay, Walmart, Amazon, and perhaps others I've not discovered. His price and everyone else's have gone up the same amount. I cannot figure out why...the price of petroleum has bottomed out. I tried researching on the internet, and the only thing I find is some issue in the UK where the price of plastic grocery bags has gone up due to some government edict. I'm kinda shocked at your Amazon jump. I last ordered vacuum bags exactly one year ago (August 1, 2019.) The prices have gone up 45% since then. As a purchasing guy, it drives me nuts to not know why. If this is a trend, I'll forward-buy. If it's a transient spike, I'll hold off on buying. During my career, I would have already known when this type of stuff was coming. I went on Ebay to contact my routine supplier (the only site you can do that without a public Q&A post), and got this message: I wonder if demand driven by The Virus That Roared might be a factor. I see my guy stopped selling bags on Ebay and only sells the "make your own" roll material.
@John Brunner, would it be fair to say that because of the COVID-19 that all areas in producing/manufacturing down to the store shelves have been affected cost-wise. Sure some things haven't been-yet. When I was at the flea market I was going to buy some Lysol disinfectant spray because I couldn't find any in the stores. I asked how much she said $10.00 each. I thought 'No, no Nanette.' but said 'Whoa, $10.00!' I was there find deals.
@Beth Gallagher I have to share this with you. You know that those Breville dehydrator/air fryer baskets have been on back order for a while. Breville sells them a 3-pak $35 and has a "Notify Me When They're In Stock" option. Williams Sonoma also sells that 3-pak for $35 and is taking orders with an ETA towards the end of this month. There are a couple of people who have some, and are taking Predatory Pricing to new heights: The Q&A has some appropriate Qs regarding this, with none of the As coming from the [attempted] Seller.
You know, Von, you are probably right. I hadn't even thought of manufacturing plants being shuttered. I've said before I kinda feel removed from this COVID thing because I'm retired. It's only picked at the fringes of my existence when I'm out shopping. I've yet to notice much else that's gone up, but most of my purchases are gas and produce. I feel so bad for people whose lives have been so horribly damaged.
If that were my listing, I'd charge $50 shipping. I mean, why make any pretenses about it? I'm keeping an eye on it because supply may loosen up here soon...W.S. is quoting an availability of only a few weeks out. Maybe I'll ask how many holes they have in them...
I had to go downstairs and check with hubby to make sure the ceiling plaster is still in place and he could hear the TV.
I was thinking more along the lines of Hair Gel splotches on the ceiling of your bouncy room. Your Height + Rebounder Height - Ceiling Height = Not Much Bouncing Space Regarding the name "Rebounder:" I keep getting visions of an "I'll help you get over her/him" professional. There's probable a Craigslist sub-category under Services. I imagine some are Certified.
