After the Republican convention is over and the real campaigning begins, I sure hope there will be man-to-man debates between Trump and Biden, with no "spoon-feeding" from teleprompters! Hal
No, Al...it's just that I don't know the difference between many things anymore, due to advancing dementia. (I edited my post, however, and thanks for the correction!) Harry
I'm anxious to see when Kamala Harris brings out the smelling salts to revive Joe after a biting comment from The President! Hal
I am guessing that the Biden campaign will find every reason possible to avoid putting him in a position to have to debate Trump. However, if there is a debate, the expectations for Biden will be very low. If he doesn't drool or wet himself on-stage, it will be said that he won the debate hands-down.
In the pity polls, Joe’s gotta be racking up the votes. Note: Ya know, I was just about to hit the “reply” button and then a thought came to me that there will absolutely be a lot of pity votes from those who believe that all the President does is make speeches and look presidential.
Count me as wrong regarding the Trump / Biden debate. What to watch for? The Presidential Debate is scheduled for a 90 minute run. Sounds like more of a marathon than a debate. Here are the schedules: https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2020/08/14/presidential-debates/
omg, Bobby, you understood my joke I think. After I posted it I thought - Dwight, you make too many jokes about serious things and with this one, if no one gets it, they'll think you're an idiot. I am an idiot but that's beside the point.
