We do have a hat rack but it is filled with my wife’s hats, so I just throw mine on a shelf in the Top of my closet. I usually keep a couple down to wear throughout the week and they can often be found on the corner of my desk or on top of my stereo.
Nice hats, Bill. My husband liked wearing hats. He never left home without having one on. He had some like almost every one of yours. He didn't have a cowboy hat, though. My favorite one of your hats is the cowboy hat in your avatar.
@Bill Boggs Yes, I prefer the cowboy hat on you also Bill. I have about 20 hats and 50 caps that I should send to the Goodwill because I never wear them. I keep buying hats every time I see one that speaks to me, but once at home, it goes silent and gets stacked in the coat closet top. I do like your current avatar, very nice!
My wife had cateracts off her eyes. We were both dissappointed, hoping she could read, say something like the large print Readers Digest but doc says its probably not going to happen. She comes home with a RX for glasses. All the doctor would say about them is they'll do what they will do. So we will see. She has had two eye diseases in both eyes for some time, years and has been skowly going blind.
I bought a new cane, an adjustible one, a plain cane, black, and the handle is said to be wood. It is thought the other cane was lifted from the front patio table when I left it out over night. The other one had a history. This new one is just a cane, no personality yet.
I did buy a cap on line the other day, on line from a company with an online name of bon clic bon. They said delivery would take five to ten days. I bought it on line Sunday, informed by email it shipped Monday, so today should be day 7. Expecting delivery by Thursday next, but its a French company from the interior, so I'll see it when I see it, wouldn't you think? I do have fifty days to return it but have to pay the cost of the return. It was a spur of the moment decision to buy it.
@Bill Boggs My eye situation is much like your wife's. They have done all they can. The latest problem after all the laser surgery is my eyes won't track so I have to close the glaucoma one or put a patch over it or else see double and blurry. Not into the pirate look so one closed eye it is. Tiring on the eye muscles, but better than not being able to read.
Looking into my crystal ball this Saturday a.m. I still see a Trump win in November by way of the E-C. The division between C and L will become wider. I see a new lion arising, it's faint and over the horizon, but a large lion, yes, a new super power has risen and it is staring our way with fangs bared.
Bill, I'm too dense. What is the E-C? I think I got it. Must be the Electoral College? You may be right, but the difference in popular vote will be even more than last time, I think. Maybe 5 million.
The margin all depends on how many votes the Demos can steal. I predict they will steal 5 million, but that will fall short. I predict rioting and violence that will be short-lived when citizens take an armed stand. I haven't even dusted and polished my crystal ball yet.
I just wiped mine off with a paper towel. Lots of smuges and scratches on it. The way I see it, the GOP plans to eleminate millions of votes and while doing so, blame the democrats for stealing votes. Over past years the GOP has been the most inovative in stealing votes, not counting opposition votes and not allowing qblack and poor white votes to be counte. They're a tricky bunch, but it's on to November.
Just hadd lunch. I'm low on groceries. Got some soup but I'm not in the soup mood. Had a few peanut butter and saltines and drank some left over morning coffee. I'll admit to have eaten better.
