I enjoy both extremes. I like being alone, but I've always been tagged to help with trade shows and such at many jobs because I'll talk to anybody with ease.

I had my own business for a while, and I really enjoyed going out and forming referral relationships, doing mixers, stuff like that. I belonged to 2 sizeable chambers of commerce (Vienna and Fairfax County), and was an Ambassador for both.

But I can be perfectly content going the longest time being on my own, reading books, etc.

Maybe it's the setting. If there's a reason for the encounter as the launching point, then I enjoy myself. But just fabricating small talk with no set subject, and I'd just as soon stand in a corner by myself.

I have a kitchenette with a Fridge/Microwave. I will sometimes order a meal via GRUBHUB for a change of pace or microwave a Marie Calendar frozen meal.

I don’t think it’s healthy mentally to stay in one room no matter the threat of covid. Look like good eats.

Nothing wrong with me mentally. It's a beautiful day with no smoke, clear blue skies and 80 degrees F. Think I will go sit outside for a spell.

    Not this again!

Your Shrimp Scampi is what got me started down the homemade pasta path a couple of months ago. In fact, I had Italian sausage ravioli and 3 cheese ravioli for dinner tonight.

So they're allowing more than one resident in the dining room at the same time? Isn't this a change? Are you close enough to comfortably converse?

One resident is allowed at a table for four. I am almost totally deaf and conversation is impossible anyway.

Gotcha. Yeh, now I recall your conversations regarding your hearing.
Still, it's good to be out and in the presence other humans.

You and the Mrs. really need to try your hand at homemade, if you've not done so. It is so very delicious, and the dough is easy to make.

I have 4 types in the freezer, plus a real good marinara sauce:
    -Italian sausage & spinach
    -Three cheese (my favorite)
-Shrimp & bacon in a cherry tomato/vodka cream sauce
-Mushroom and spinach with chive brown butter

Lon's pics of his pasta meals are what got me started.

It sounds and looks delicious. Did you take that photo yourself?

This is my third laptop meal brought to my apartment for the day. Breakfast Lunch & Dinner plus snacks. Hopefully we residents will be able to eat in the dinning room after the 14th of October.
