Well, in Brooklyn, NY, what was suppose to be a gathering for a protest, turned into a rave party under a bridge. Literally hundreds of Millennials showed up, some wearing masks, but many not. No distancing was done at all, but how could that be done anyway?

And, now there is protests going on comparing how much black families make compared to white families. Well, there are plenty of white families that make less than many black families! There are plenty of blacks, men and women, who are in very nice, high paying, professions.

They’re no longer protesting about anything at all. Yeah, the protesters have their mantras that they yell out but to me, that’s just for show. Antifa and BLM have already shown the entire U.S. how dangerous they can be when left unchecked so now they are making their demands.
Note: other than shooting themselves, marching a lot and pretending to be soldiers, the NFAO has only posed a threat and not much else.

In Louisiana, the BLM is busy coercing and extorting business owners to give them a percent of their business or else. What’s even worse is that they’re getting away with it.
In Minneapolis (I believe) the citizens are now being told to give whoever comes to their home, business or even to their car and simply give them what they want. To me, that edict also means that if someone protects their property and an encroacher gets wounded or killed, the owner of said property will probably be held liable.
With everything else, I heard on the radio this morning that the BLM organization is also attacking the non-profits and making their demands known to them. They want x% of whatever monies are donated to go to specific destinations as well as making them give classes regarding racial inequalities and a bunch of other stuff I can’t recall at the moment.

At the present time, it doesn’t seem like the leadership in most democrat run states and cities really want to stop these terrorist organizations maybe believing that their numbers are enough to give them the necessary votes to remain in office. At the very least, even if the incumbents can’t make it back into office, they know that because of all the turmoil, the Presidency itself is in question. (which I really think is the ultimate goal of the DNC)

Bottom line: They’re not protesting any longer. They’re like bandits walking into a bank with their sacks and weapons in hand. They’ve already made a show of how dangerous they can be so now it’s time to raid the vault. And moreover, the bank managers are simply handing over the combination to the locks sans any call for police assistance.

While the members of the Minneapolis City Council have taxpayer-supported armed security for themselves. Democrat leaders who support the defunding of police departments have armed security for themselves but are removing any semblance of security for those who can't afford to hire a security service, particularly given that they enact gun laws that don't even allow the general public to defend themselves.

I have seen a few videos lately of citizens taking it upon themselves to move Antifa and BLM out. In one case, Antifa had attacked a disabled veteran who was in a wheelchair, and two of them got the crap beat out of them, while the others literally ran away across a field. In another, they forced them to leave the neighborhood they had selected for their protest at gunpoint. A couple of them protested...

    "This is a peaceful protest!"
"We have a right to be here!"

A lady told them something like, "We don't care about you and it's not our job to worry about your rights."

Yes, these are vigilante actions but that is to be expected whenever proper authorities decline to act. That doesn't make them right, and widespread vigilantism can be as abusive as whatever it is they're trying to stop, but it's inevitable. When the police are unwilling or unable to provide the security that people feel they need, they will eventually act to carry it out themselves.

If they were to come to Northern Maine with violent protests, I think there's a pretty good chance that someone will be shot. Most of the towns north of Bangor don't even have a police department but are dependent upon the Sheriff's Department to patrol every now and then, while the State Police are rarely seen north of Bangor. Mostly, victimless crime is ignored while other crimes are taken care of by the victims or their friends, families, and neighbors if the Sheriff's Department doesn't take care of it first. Burglars are as likely to get the crap beat out of them as arrested.

Although they have a presence in Maine's southern cities, I don't think Antifa would fare well here.

A protester on Saturday night, in Denver, told a news reporter: "We are very, very angry and want to burn Denver to the ground. We want to abolish the Denver Police Department. We don't need or want them." The Mayor of Denver stated that shutting down the Denver P.D. will never happen.

The protesting started around 8PM.......peacefully, but by 9PM (or so), the breaking of windows and fire-starting happened. There were even protesters that were armed with military-style weapons. There were 12 arrests made (Millennials) and some of those weren't even from Denver.

One of the things that we are reading about more and more often, is that the protesters, and other liberals that are not even protesting, are attacking senior citizens who are not doing anything.
This news article is about a 77 year old veteran, walking into the post office, wearing the required face covering, and a MAGA hat, and someone told him that “we don’t like your kind here”, and then someone else bashed him in the head.
This was not happening in a protest, just every day life, an old man trying to go to the post office and get his mail.

I started to hit the 'like' button for Yvonne's post, then hesitated. I don't 'like' what she reports. In fact I dislike it very much. There's no button for that, though.

These people are either sick or paid to be stupid. I think the best thing that could happen is the first big arrest is George Soros which might cause a big up rising because they will have lost their pay check

I was just reading an article on the Breonna Taylor incident in Louisville KY. She was shot & killed when the cops served a no-knock warrant on her boyfriend, and she got caught up in the gunfire. One of 3 cops involved were indicted.

There was a U-Haul full of protest gear waiting for the verdict. As soon as it was announced that 2 of the cops were gonna walk, out comes the stuff.

    There's supposed to be a 9PM curfew. We'll see.

(edit to remove "no-knock." I misread the article.)

I just was looking at that video of the rioters getting the u-haul truck unloaded. According to Twitter, it was not a no-knock warrant, and they did announce themselves before entering the apartment.
It seems like Breanna’s boyfriend is the one responsible for her death, since he shot at the police and they fired back. if he had not shot first, no one would have been hurt or killed.

I disagree this time, Yvonne. I've read much about this. Breanna's boyfriend evidently thought he was shooting at intruders, not police. They announced, but not in such a way as to be heard by the boyfriend. Of the many police shootings over recent months that were possibly justified, I don't think this one was.

It began with a Democrat agenda to make it okay to hate and be rude to people who supported Trump, but has since morphed to one of making it okay to attack or even kill white people, Trump supporters, old people, or pretty much anyone.

It was reported that the upstairs neighbor heard the police knocking on Breanna's door, so the boyfriend is covering his own butt (and likely hoping for part of the 12 million.)
