I'm watching The Equalizer 2 with Denzel Washington fighting the Russian mob. He's a real badass in this one.

In the wee hours of the morning I watched Blast (2004) with comedian Eddie Griffin and then Run All Night (2015) with Ed Harris, Liam Neelson, Joel Kinneman, and Boyd Holbrook. Both good movies.

I've written both down in my list of "Should See". Thank you, ma'am.

Fallen with Denzel Washington and John Goodman explicit rating. If you like watching good and evil in battle this is a good one.

I bought this movie at the flea market Sunday. Once it started I remembered I've watched this movie once a long time ago. After watching it last night I also remembered that I was left puzzled by the ending but I understood it last night.

I have to get to the library and checkout some DVDs. I have seen most of the ones I was interested in but there might be some new. May as well find a book while I'm there.

That's a good movie, Von. (Plus Denzel... sigh.)

Last night I tried to watch part one of "The Comey Rule" on Showtime. It was so biased and ugly that I couldn't finish watching. It really depresses me to think that such crap is allowed to be aired, especially so close to the election. They should have called this drivel "Orange Man Bad". (Based on James Comey's book, so what did I expect.)

I avoid true stories and most documentaries about individuals or events. Of course I had to have watched some to make this decision and when I did I found my self asking questions that were never answered. Maybe those answers weren't important enough to include; maybe it be over the allotted time so they were cut out. So I stopped watching them.

I agree, Von... especially in today's world. "Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear" is more valid than ever. The Comey crap is a movie, and is so biased that I might decide to cut Showtime from our cable lineup. Too many impressionable people will accept it as the truth without verifying the facts.

Hey Cody...did you know that "High Noon" progresses in real time?

When you first see a clock in the town of Hadleyville, set your watch to that time.

When Frank Miller and his men get off the train at High Noon, your watch should also say noon.

We have the original and the later remake of Ocean's Eleven, and also Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen.

Too bad all that cash was cremated along with the body.....

Flipping channels I got caught up in watching The Secret Garden, on Turner Classics. The 1949 version with Margaret O'Brien, Herbert Marshall and Dean Stockwell. I saw it once decades ago. It's still a good movie.

This time I was interested in the character Dickon, played by Brian Roper. Roper was almost 20 years old at the time. Second time around you notice different things.

I guess there have been several remakes. Haven't seen any of them. Has anyone? Better?
