@ Verizon, then the dreaded Walmart. Had to buy a new flip phone. The old was still under warranty but had stopped working. While at doing that I picked up a bunch of miscellaneous stuff - some for survival gear. Candles, chimney for an old oil lamp, batteries, a battery radio, slippers for myself, and, of course, more canned cat food for the bad one. Barney's hyperthyroidism is being treated but he still wants to eat small amounts six times a day. I try to accommodate him.
I bought a black sleeveless coat with a hood. Oh, it isn’t just Any sleeveless coat with a hood but a Heated sleeveless coat with a hood complete with a USB port to hook into a portable USB battery. (battery not included). Now, what would I do with a heated black sleeveless coat with a hood complete with a USB port to hook into a battery? (again, battery not included) Why, sit on my porch in the morning in the middle of winter and enjoy my coffee whilst watching the sun come up and maybe even post something on SoC of course. Okay, it got here on time and there’s a problem. There were four size options for the heated black sleeveless coats with a hood complete with a USB port to hook into a portable USB battery (not included). Before I ordered I read the reviews and they all said the coats run a little small since it comes from China. Yeah, the place that makes viruses also makes coats and I wanted one but without the virus. So I said to myself, “ I’m a 3X in some things and a large 2X in others so I’ll buy the 4X just to be on the safe side. I have a large chest and some things just do not fit right and........it didn’t. What I received is a 4X that obviously caught the Covid-19 virus because it must have gotten de-hydrated and shrunk to a small 2X somewhere between China and the American shores. Thankfully, my loving wife thought of her daughter Robin and we think it might fit her so I guess she’ll be getting a new heated black sleeveless coat with a hood complete with a USB port to hook into a portable USB battery which is not included but I think she has one.,,or more.
I have a few hurricane lamps and some oil I bought when I first moved here 10 years ago. The electricity has been more reliable than I imagined. I also got some survival stuff (wheat berries, dehydrated foods, etc.) but if I lose power I've lost my well water.
October 13 and 14 are Amazon Prime Days. I have Amazon gift cards for survey rewards that I plan to get a new 4 slice toaster with.
