Homemade pizzas.. I used a wrap as a base, pizza sauce, sliced mushrooms, diced peppers, diced red onion, thinly sliced tomato, and mozzarella cheese.. Baked at 430f in the oven on a cookie sheet till slightly brown on top.. About 15 minutes..
B/S chicken breast breaded and pan fried in EVOO.. Steamed broccoli.. I made a couscous also to make a change.. Made it with stock instead of water..
Salmon fillets breaded and pan fried.. sliced carrots from our garden steamed with butter.. stewed peaches with heavy cream..
I just got pork steaks out of freezer for tea tonite ,going to have hot veggies with them. Last night had a tossed green salad with lettuce / spring onion / tomato / cucumber / carrot strips / Avocado with Lemon chilli marinated diced grilled chicken , we both enjoyed it I don’t like or trust bought marinated meats I’d rather do it myself I know they are fresh by doing them by self
meatloaf for supper tonight made with minced chicken.. Not sure about the veggies yet.. I have loads of fresh turnips that I just yesterday picked from our garden.. I might cube one, steam it, mash it with butter and chives and.... voila.... a veggie...
I took out of the freezer a package of chicken drumsticks.. what I will do with them is another thing.. Most likely on the BBQ but maybe I will put them in the slow cooker with some sauce and veggies...
Today could be a soup day.. I will make a simple vegetable soup in the slow cooker.. Not very many veggies but flavourful..
That is what we had yesterday. I used the golden turnips and the fresh carrots that came in my misfits package, and some roast that was left over from another meal, and it made a good dinner.
We got a small chicken at Aldi’s and put it on the rotisserie, and then had fresh steamed broccoli with it. I love rotisserie chicken, this was one of @Bobby Cole’s best ideas (he bought the rotisserie oven) !
Chicken and shrimp fajitas with the leftover rotisserie chicken, lots of pepper, green tomatoes, and onion, with chili beans and low carb tortillas.
SOUP ……… I made a vegetable soup in the slow cooker and tonight for supper we are having a large bowl of my homemade soup.. Something to warm us up as (believe it)……. ITS SNOWING.... We need some soul food....

Soup was awesome... We each had 2 bowls and there is enough to freeze 2 large portions as well as one more time to have soup that I put in the fridge.. Maybe tomorrow soup again... Vegetable soup contained.... can of diced tomatoes, 2 coarsely diced onions, sliced carrots, sliced parsnips, and celery..... Herbs and spices of course.. Vegetable stock and water as the liquid.. I also added 1/2 cup of pearl barley.. In the slow cooker for about 6 hours..
