I bumped into this one. A “”fat cat” gets sent to a fat camp of sorts and learns to like swimming and using the tread mill. Amusing. https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/overweight-cat-fat-camp
I've been sick and stuck at home for years and my cat Barnie is my best buddy and companion. We're getting old together. He is very demanding of attention and affectionate and "talks" to me a lot.I live alone and he"s my only company. I never understood the people who like dogs and dislike cats. I've always had and liked bot.
Barnie is a great name - I know what its like to be stuck at home, so I wish you well Dwight and welcome ! @Dwight Ward
We have little dogs, and they are both our family, and are best buddies, as you say Barnie is. I think that having a pet is one of the best thing for any person, but especially we seniors. Welcome to the forum, @Dwight Ward ! Do you have pictures of Barnie to share with us ?
Yvonne, I do not have any pictures of Barney. I broke my last camera a while ago, but I'm thinking of getting another just so I can post pictures here. Barney is very vain, by the way. It's another thing we have in common. Thanks for the welcome.
@Hal Pollner Like the "big cats": As Ray Johnson, on an African Safari, watched two lions tear apart and devour an antelope, his guide casually remarked, "When they finish eating, they will lie about for a week belching and farting, like Kafirs!" Frank
