There is a facebook group of truck drivers who are going to have a no-drive protest tomorrow (Veteran’s Day) to show their support for President Trump, and their dislike for a possible upcoming socialist government rule. They are going to do this for a day, and if that does not get people’s attention, the next trucker shutdown would be for a longer period. Whether this happens or not, it might be a good time to stock up on a little extra emergency food (and toilet paper, of course), just in case things are in short supply for a few days. Fill up the gas tank, too.
Another person who simply will not do the research. CNN nor any other entity of the MSM can call the election. Please Cody, don’t be like the other copycats in this country. Wait patiently until all the votes have been counted and the electors presented before Congress then and only then will we truly know who the next President will be. All the junk going around the block is so unnecessary and creates a lot of bedlam and inside childish fighting when in fact, no one, not even Biden can predict the future. If he wins, so be it. I may not like the results but I’ll pray for the man and our country the same as I do for any President. I don’t like the idea that the truckers might hold off moving whatever for a day or even an hour but that’s not my biggest concern. My biggest concern about the whole ordeal is why do they believe they have to go on strike? They’re going to make a point I’m sure but I’m not sure what that point will harvest. If people will be adults and honestly read the constitution, none of this stupidity would have raised it’s ugly head to begin with. We, everyone on this forum could honestly separate ourselves from the rest of the country by not trying to poke out each other’s eyes with childish na-na-na’s. Let the truckers and other protesters from both sides along with the media do what they wish because without the background of knowledge concerning the Constitution in regard to our freedom to vote for those in political office, it’s all garbage anyway.

To tell the absolute truth Beth, I didn’t even read the whole thing until after I wrote in reply to Cody. All this eye poking before the results come in and people who do the eye poking have no vague idea how and when those results are determined is so frustrating and then here’s Cody joining right in. Alas though, you’re right.
Well, it has to happen before people start complaining about it. Right? Way to many people complain about things that haven't happened yet. Many Seniors are always complaining about Social Security going away. Hasn't happened yet, but that don't stop them from complaining that it will.
Once again, the internet is full of talk about a world-wide truckers strike, starting today. Apparently, it is more than just the United States, and there are pictures of the strike from Canada, and as far away as Australia. I have been reading about it for a while now; but one never knows if something like this is actually going to happen or not. I think that people everywhere are pretty upset about what is happening in Afghanistan, and want our people brought home. Has anyone else been hearing/reading about this strike ? If it does happen, the stores will have bare shelves by the end of this weekend……
No, I haven't heard anything possibly since I am not on Facebook (which is about 90% false info anymore) and I think if the truckers would consider that a strike just causes panic, hoarding, and unnecessary hardships that allow the ruling dictators to gain more power, they wouldn't even suggest such. The only way that this illegal takeover can be stopped is by exercising our 2nd amendment rights. The only hope for the world is the USA and the USA seems the hardest hit by antisocial fascism.
I agree with you, Faye, that a truckers strike just causes hardships, and I have never seen one that actually accomplished anything beneficial. I am not sure why the truckers think that it will help anything, when it never has before, and it is people who suffer the most, because of the food shortage and higher prices due to the food shortage. However, if it is going to happen, people should at least stock up a few extra items to make it through the next few days. The strikes seldom last very long, but cause a lot of problems when they do happen.
We'll just bring in more drivers from Mexico with their shoddy vehicles and exempt them from the safety standards that American truck drivers have to obey...just like every other aspect of our society. Maybe Democrats will give them "free" gas.
In 2008 we had a nationwide rally against illegals coming into out nation by the tens of 1000s. Truckers were suppose to fly American flags on their trucks to in protest. Truckers were really upset about how the illegals and trucks from S.America were not only taking jobs,lowering wages but making the roads dangerous by their trucks falling apart and retreads flying off tires causing wrecks and deaths. No news would broadcast it. But they all knew and companies told them if they participated in this convoy to the border to protest they would be fired on the spot. On the way down we only saw 2 trucks with flags.It was very disheartening.
