It places an Electrostatic Charge on any dielectric material within its field. Here's a different type of "Lightning Machine" I designed & built: It's called a "Bonetti Machine" which is like a 'Wimshurst Machine" without the disc sectors. The charge is generated between the two counter-rotating 36" Acrylic Discs and stored in the 2 Capacitors. I had a similar experience when I dreamt I was golfing and my arm suddenly swung out an up in the air waking me. Immediately I laughed knowing what had just happened.

I have realistic dreams every night and many are very disturbing. I dreamed that I had to find my car keys before I woke up so that I could go to CVS to pick up a RX. I no longer drive or have a car, let alone car keys. I dream about club selection for a particular hole that I am playing and I no longer have clubs or play the game.
I once read that our dreams are a way that we can go quietly insane so that we can maintain sanity in our waking hours.
I had a weird dream the other night. Found myself in a very small room filled with little girls, who had taken their dolls of all kind and had them lined in a toilet. No water in toilet. They were all happy girls. Up above their heads was a long shelf that had different colored and brands of microwaves. Go figure. I do a degree of dream interpretation- so know that most of this points to domestic happiness for one thing. Still was a bit weird.
