I have been reading my February issues of "Coffee Grind" & "Java Juice", and see where Cold Brew Coffee is the newest trend in coffee for 2016! Imagine my surprise, when I saw @Ruby Begonia 's post on Iced Coffee! The difference is that Cold Brew Coffee, never experiences hot water. The course ground coffee soaks overnight in water (12-20 hours). Then it is double strained and kept as a chilled coffee concentrate. Small amounts can be diluted with water, and served cold or hot. This concentrate will last 4 to 6 days, in the fridge. It has none of the bitterness, that comes from hot water brewing, and replaces instant coffee. We may not go with nitro coffee, but we are looking into adding Cold Brew Coffee on tap, serving up Date Coffee Shakes, Hopped Cold Brew, Cold Brew Sodas, and Cold Brew Cocktails to the Brunch menu.
So interesting; Never mixed with hot water. I'd love to try this. You'll think I'm crazy but I actually prefer cold or iced coffee and I drink it every day. Usually it's chilled brewed coffee but I will also mix up Starbucks Via instant , which quite good, for iced coffee. Not to say I don't like hot coffee, I do.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz are back with another summer song for Dunkin' Donuts. The duo combined for a love song about iced coffee in this commercial.
