I completely understand. Great security. Better than my game cams ("Hold on while I pull the SD card" ain't gonna cut it.) And I gather you have to choose to make it internet-visible (meaning you can log on from work.)
Well, I don't go to work. But the app is installed on my iPhone so I can see the camera from almost anywhere. It's just a bonus that Amazon gadgets can also have the app, though they work through "Alexa" which I usually have disabled.
I was just placing a Walmart order for some stuff and noticed that they now offer "second hand" stuff from ThredUp.
Walmart's website is the same as Amazon. It is a "marketplace" with tons of sellers, so you have to select the box for Walmart items only.
I ordered all the grandkids' Christmas loot and had it shipped directly to them. I don't even have to gift wrap during the "isolation holidays."
Got my "Made in the USA" copper bracelet today. It's really nice and quite weighty for a small piece. Matches my watch, too.
I just had a weird experience with a Walmart order I placed on Sunday Dec 6. I needed to hit the minimum for free freight, so threw on a pack of crew socks. >The confirmation said that the socks were in stock at my local store, and should arrive from there that same day. >Monday I got an email saying something to the effect that the store was busy so my order would be delayed. >Tuesday, the ETA for this item disappeared from my order. >Friday (today) I got an email saying that the socks have been cancelled from my order, with the following explanation: I've never seen that before, but I've never ordered an item that was in stock just up the road from me.
I just established a UTMA and funded a new mutual fund account with Vanguard for my newest great grand daughter. How nice to be able to do this online.
That is so true. My mother-in-law had some fraud on her bank account recently and my husband has been working on getting it straightened out for over a week. He had to accompany her to the bank and make a lot of phone calls, when he realized how her mental state is declining. One security question on an account was for her mother's maiden name and she could not remember it. I told my husband that he needs to move ahead with a power of attorney, though he is resisting.
Once again, supporting the US economy and to the disadvantage of my usual outfitter adidas. Et voilĂ , NIKE's Air Max Command. Sorry for not cleaning it properly.
