With gyms being closed for too long a time I bought these resistance bands and like them. Light-weight and lots of exercises possible. Remind me of an expander I had as a teen when there were no fitness centers.

I just won the bid on these movies on Ebay. I have the VHS on Time Cop with Van Damme (1998) but not Timecop 2 (2003). I'm upgrading all my VHS tapes in my library to DVD or Blu-ray. I donate the VHS tapes to the Salvation Army.

I just got my grocery delivery. I added this to the order for my husband to wear to his mother's on Christmas. :D (Yes, his side of the family is still having their gathering. I won't be attending.)

This Santa mask will coordinate nicely with his blinking-light necklace. :p

I got a bee in my bonnet for a smaller bread machine. Finally opened the box and it's cute!

Hard to believe it makes the same size loaves as my old (BIG) one.

I'll try it out before I get rid of the "Breadman," though.

My wife just bought a new breadmaking machine, too. I don't get it. I have made bread several times, and I always thought my bread came out just fine. It wasn't particularly difficult to make and all that it took was a wooden bread roller, a bread pan, an oven, and only a few ingredients. What does the breadmaking machine offer that can't be just as easily done with a roller and a bread pan? When I ask my wife, she thinks I'm upset because she spent money on a breadmaking machine. I can waste money with the best of them, so that's not it at all.

Convenience. Just dump the ingredients in, press "start" and go about your business. Less mess to clean up, too. I have baked plenty of bread the old-fashioned way but why make all that mess if you don't have to.

It's also convenient for making dough... like for pizzas.

    You are a good step-dad.

I hope that takes the edge off of his(?) anxiety.

I just use my stand mixer. If it weren't for that, I would not make pizza or Italian breads. In fact, I just made a biga in it to develop overnight so I can make Italian bread tomorrow. Freezing temps are a good time to fire up the stove.

Maybe if I had a bigger house my resistance to bulky appliances might wane.

I went from having 10 items on order (coffees and other stuff) to having nothing on order.

    My life feels empty.
