Tonights Dinner At The Old Folks Home Assisted Living

    Every morning with breakfast I am given a printed copy of my three meal choices for the next day. I print my name and apartment number at the top and the form is picked up when they bring my lunch. I print how I like my eggs--I love poached & omelettes. If I want oat meal or cereal or fresh fruit bowel I print that in.
    This is a far cry from the food service prior to COVID 19 but all things considered, I'm fortunate. JAN 4 MENU.jpg

    We are still getting meals brought to our apartments. I'll be happy when the dining room reopens

    I'm trying to pick out what to have from takeout tonight.....Never do anything a day ahead if I'm not cooking it.

    It will be Filet Mignon with a Cabernet Reduction/Baked Potato/Asparagus Strawberry Rhuhbarb Pie for desert. Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc wine

    Delivered of course because dinning room is still closed. That colorful broccoli was delicious as was the Sirloin Steak.
