I had a doctor tell me once to not worry about misplacing my keys...…….if I forget that I have a car, however, it's time to worry.
battery was dead and/or bad reception in pole building. I got a 'new' flip phone but hope springs eternal for all my contacts and pix. It is better than having it fall into a toilet. I think you are right about the distraction thing. We don't really have to have a schedule any more and can do things as we please (or not) so we think about too many things instead of focusing. I will try to get my animals to eat faster!
Heck, I had Verizon goof up my contacts the last time I bought a new phone (the 3rd cell phone I've owned.) Something happened in the middle of transferring the data and their internal network crashed. Thank goodness I noticed some contacts missing when I got home, and I was able to go back before they shipped my phone off to Cellular Heaven. They tethered the two phones again and transferred the rest of the contacts, but only some of them are backed up on the web. The rest are not. No one can figure out why or how to fix it.
