I usually alternate between Peet's & Starbucks coffee but just rediscovered Nescafe & enjoy it as well in the morning.
My son recommended this brand and sent me a bag of beans. I'm not usually a "breakfast blend" person but this is actually pretty good; very smooth. Marques De Paiva, Rainforest Alliance Certified (whatever that means) and 100% arabica.
You know, not really. I have not messed with my Breville since my initial experiments. My dentist said he was no fungal infections that might cause such an issue. I do have one tooth whose old metal filling has brokeing part of the tooth away. He said nothing about that being a factor. My existing coffee is OK but not real good...the Cuisinart grinder has changed that variable for me. I keep thinking of trying the Breville again with some of the high-end coffee I bought...I just haven't bothered, for no particular reason. It's weird that this all started when I got that Breville and brewed the stronger coffee with it.
Yur-EE-ka!!! That explains why the circuit breaker keeps tripping! You can tell what I've been messing with a lot, huh? Burger buns, pizza, lemon bars...all in the Breville. Maybe I'm trying to put that Bonavita out of my mind. It's still on the counter...mocking me. So tasteless...
So a side-effect of chemotherapy is that it makes things taste weird. (You can see where this is going.) Even water has a "metallic" taste and I'm supposed to drink 2-3 liters of water a day. So sadly, coffee is no longer a highlight of my day. I just dumped out a cup I made that just sat and got cold. It's a sad day, people.
I’ve tried the coffee on the right, illy, both in Italy and Oklahoma. For whatever reason I wasn’t impressed. The one I bought in Italy was dry, and I thought old. The one given me here made weak coffee. I hope you have a better experience.
