I know you are being positive, Von. You are a positive person. I didn't weigh in the day before starting this, but 138.5 sounds surprisingly about right. I think I may have a small bone structure. Doc says osteoporosis is my only threat, so far. Don't carry extra weight well. I always weighed around 135 +/-. Assumed I'd always drift back to that weight naturally no matter what. Joined a health and fitness forum about 12 years ago and got down to 120. I couldn't believe how much more energy, knees stopped creaking, BP dropped, just in time to keep up with 14 full grown goats. Kept most of it off for about 10 years, until the Covid-19 lockdown (that's my excuse anyway). I've just felt awful this winter. Difficult to even get up off the floor. I got too many things I still want/have to do, many of them down on the floor.
Changing the subject... . Discovered a stack of fifty-seven 45 rpm records while dusting Sunday. I have approx 200 others stored in 6 fruitcake/cookie tins. (Why?) This one I forgot all about. It wasn't that popular at the time, but it's still good, imo. This Heart - Gene Redding, 1974

Glad you asked. . One cup of black coffee brewed normal strength has less than 5 calories (I think it's 2). I round all higher count items up to the nearest 10 calories, so I can add them easily without a calculator. A few cups of coffee (or tea) here and there, have already been accounted for in rounding up other things. However, I do know people who weigh every single grams worth of anything they swallow, and count every single calorie. They use spreadsheets. LOL

Not exactly. The cottage cheese was separate. I've been practicing eating only 3 times per day. But 800 calories doesn't leave much to work with.
I don't see much fruit in your meals but I only went back a page to look. I say that because I remember not liking the look of cottage cheese. Then I tried it out of curiosity after seeing it with slices of peach and it was good.
Von, 800 calories per day is pretty low. There is just no room to fit in any food that doesn't stick with you, and fruit doesn't (at least not with me). Maybe bananas. And most fruit has a lot of sugar. Empty calories.
Apparently bananas are a no-no. https://www.ndtv.com/food/weight-lo...void-if-you-are-trying-to-lose-weight-1947339
